- Provide policy recommendations on the use of FinTech as a tool to enhance financial inclusion in the State of Qatar
- Provide policy recommendations on the use of FinTech to increase financial access for SMEs in the State of Qatar
- Address a key element of Qatar Vision 2030 of creating an inclusive and technological driven society and economy
As Qatar accelerates its transition toward a knowledge-based and inclusive economy, FinTech emerges as a key driver of financial empowerment, innovation, and equity. This research project seeks to understand how FinTech adoption can transform economic participation across diverse segments of Qatari society. From households and SMEs to women and low-income groups, the project investigates the opportunities and challenges of digital finance in Qatar’s evolving landscape.
The key objectives of the project are to:
